First american bank supports scholarships with generous donation!
Our friends at First American Bank recently made an incredible $80,901 donation to the Foundation from the Cockburn Charitable Trust! The funds support the endowed scholarship program, and therefore, they will benefit students well beyond our lifetime. Presenting the check to Executive Director Mike Antiporda is Niki Herring and Sue Chiodini from First American Bank NM.

Foundation Awards Chevron Catalyst Grants
The Carlsbad Community Foundation has awarded 20 grants to local nonprofit organizations as part of its Chevron Catalyst Grant Program. The long-standing partnership with Chevron began with the first awards in 2018 from a charitable fund that was established in 2016.
Chevron has continued to generously support the fund each year, demonstrating its commitment to the community. The Foundation, in turn, is responsible for implementing the program and selecting recipients through a competitive grant process, drawing on its experience and in-depth knowledge of local nonprofit organizations to maximize the use of charitable dollars.
